BETHLEHEM OLIVEWOOD (Olea Europaea) The heartwood is brown to rich yellowish brown, streaked with dark brown lines. Sapwood is creamy yellow or gold color and is often interlaced with dark stripes giving the wood a marbled appearance. Olivewood is an excellent turnery wood. These pieces come from the pruning of their trees. A certificate of Authenticity comes with each item made from this material. |
